Rinalle was born somewhere in the Fringes of Gyr Abania and spent the first fifteen years of his life devoted to the worship of Nymeia, the Spinner (and stirring up trouble and exploring as much as he could). Shortly before the Calamity, in order to save his twin brother's life, he sacrificed his own. Or so he thought.When he woke up, he had no memories. Taken in and nursed back to health by Frost's Bastards, a passing band of Ala Mhigan adventurers, he chose to continue with them rather than attempt to return to the unknown life he came from. He spent the next five years completing jobs with them and falling in love with Ala Mhigo through the Resistance work his group engaged in.He split from them in order to pursue a more formal education in thaumaturgy than anyone in the Bastards could provide and stayed independent in his work for a few years, though they remained in close contact. After the Bastards were killed at Baelsar's Wall, Rinalle spent the war single-mindedly fighting to ensure what they had wanted could finally be a reality.Since then, he's kept to the adventuring life, taking jobs that let him travel to the farthest corners of the star.
